A native of Northern California’s wine country, Caryn grew up immersed in her family’s viticultural roots. With a father steeped in farming and a mother who was a gourmet chef, family meals always led to the finest wines and lively epicurean adventures. As a Certified Specialist of Wine (CSW), a WSET III, and a Certified Specialist of Sherry Wines, she has acquired a commanding knowledge of the many facets and intricacies of wine varieties, winemaking, rare and fine wines, vineyard terroirs, and wine appellations throughout the world. Today, Caryn has the great fortune to have a career creating written content regarding all matters of wine through blogs, journalistic articles, and digital outlets. Educating and exciting budding wine enthusiasts is her life’s passion and her family’s pride.
