About this Virtual Experience

In this luxury virtual whiskey tasting participants will learn how to enjoy and recognize whiskey in a fun online format. Tasting sessions last about 90 minutes (may vary depending on the interaction level and the number of participants). Each participant will receive a tasting kit in the mail composed of five 1 oz. sample bottles.

A few days before the session, participants will receive an email with a whiskey-tasting wheel. This is a tool for the upcoming tasting and serves as a nice teaser to get everyone ready. When the event arrives participants will receive a link to connect with the host to enjoy the experience (The link can also be left open afterwards for virtual happy hour).

A typical tasting includes icebreakers, an overview of whiskies, how to nose, and how to taste. After the event tasting notes of the whiskies are sent by email to all the participants.

Team building option: Participants will team up trying as a group to be the best at tasting and answering some trivia questions about whiskey. Very fun and interactive and allows casual interaction between Team members.

How much does a virtual experience cost?

The price shown on each experience page is per kit, and it covers the kit contents and the live hosted experience.

Shipping is billed separately as a flat rate per kit and appears in the Instant Estimate on the same page. It ranges from free to roughly $75 depending on the kit's size, weight, and whether it contains alcohol. Alaska, Hawaii, expedited, and international shipping cost more.

Some experiences also carry a flat host fee per event rather than per kit. When one applies, it appears on that experience's page. For customization requests and add-ons, please get in touch for pricing details.

What is the recommended lead time for a virtual tasting?

We recommend 2 weeks lead time from the day of payment and delivery of shipping information. If you need something quicker we can arrange for expedited shipping or recommend other options that might be available.

How does shipping work?

You will need to provide us with a list of all the shipping addresses. If you would like help with this we can put together a google form and send it to your participants on your behalf.

The flat rate shown on each experience page is per kit and covers standard ground shipping within the continental US. It is an estimate, and we confirm the final figure before invoicing. Alaska, Hawaii, and expedited delivery carry additional per-kit charges, listed under Shipping Details on each experience page.

Where can you ship your virtual experiences to?

We can ship and/or make arrangements for participants in the US, Canada, Europe, and other global regions. Let us know where you your participants are and we can help with some solutions.

Can you accommodate dietary restrictions and non-drinkers?

Yes! We have a variety of Mocktail and food kits that we can ship out. We can also curate custom packages to accommodate participants with special requests.

What platform do you use to host your virtual tastings?

We use Zoom for all our tastings. If you are at an organization that prefers a different platform you're more than welcome to set up a meeting link that our virtual tasting hosts can jump on.
