About Angel Salinas C.

Angel holds a Business Degree from Anahuac University, a CMS Certified Sommelier Diploma, and a WSET III pass with Distinction Diploma among several other certifications. He has dedicated his professional career to the F&B industry, having ample experience in both the operational and administrative areas. As an Operating Director, he has led the Food & Wine Programs for La Colina Restaurant (Tokyo, Japan), Don Emiliano Restaurant (Los Cabos, Mexico), Guaycura Boutique Hotel & Spa (Todos Santos, Mexico), Hacienda Santa Cruz (Yucatan, Mexico).

As Executive Sommelier, he directed the wine pairings and tastings offered by the Mexican Government for the G20 summit in Los Cabos, Mexico City, and Washington DC. For over 12 years Angel has been a Wine Professor at Centro Culinario Ambrosia for both the Professional Sommelier and the Professional Mexican Cuisine Diplomas. He has done numerous lectures both in Mexico and abroad on Food, Wine & Spirits themes, and has hosted 20-plus TV shows about wine and food for El Gourmet Latin America.

For the past 8 years, Angel has functioned as the Managing Partner for Vinology MX, a company dedicated to the distribution and promotion of worldwide quality wines for the on-trade market. This gives him the opportunity to keep working closely with Chefs and Sommeliers from all backgrounds.
