Mike is a seasoned craft beverage expert with 15 years of experience in the distillery and brewery industry. Currently serving as Chief Whiskey Ambassador, he has explored nearly every distillery in Kentucky and Tennessee—participating in about 90% of the tours and tastings available. His passion for whiskey is evident not only in his recent feat of distilling his own bourbon from scratch and his impressive collection of over 3,000 bottles, but also in his role as a virtual event host, where he has led more than 300 tastings and guided participants through immersive whiskey experiences. In addition to spearheading monthly whiskey and beer pairing events and a sensory whiskey class, Mike has crafted several unique whiskey blends. His education is built on hands-on experience, complemented by certifications as a Level 3 Whiskey Sommelier (with an invitation to the Level 4 exam), Executive Bourbon Steward, and multiple specialized diplomas from EWA in Single Malt, Irish Whiskey, Sensory Analysis, and Flavor Focus.
