About the host
Andrew Bieber the Cycling Certified Cicerone
Andrew Bieber is the Cycling Certified Cicerone. A Cicerone is like a sommelier but for beer, and the "Cycling" part is so his poor body can maintain a healthy equilibrium while being a professional beer taster. He's the host of the podcast Washington Beer Talk, on the board of directors of Washington's first Cooperative Brewery, Flying Bike, and occasionally brews beer at Dirty Couch, Seattle's best (in his opinion) brewer of sour, barrel-aged beers. When you join the Cycling Cicerone for a tasting, you'll be treated to magnificent tour de pints. Craft beer from independent breweries around the United States is shipped to your door. During the tasting, he deftly combines trivia and games with tasting techniques and the rich history of beer to create an entertaining and educational experience.

Frequently Asked Questions
How much does a virtual experience cost?
The price shown on each experience page is per kit, and it covers the kit contents and the live hosted experience.
Shipping is billed separately as a flat rate per kit and appears in the Instant Estimate on the same page. It ranges from free to roughly $75 depending on the kit's size, weight, and whether it contains alcohol. Alaska, Hawaii, expedited, and international shipping cost more.
Some experiences also carry a flat host fee per event rather than per kit. When one applies, it appears on that experience's page. For customization requests and add-ons, please get in touch for pricing details.
What is the recommended lead time for a virtual tasting?
We recommend 2 weeks lead time from the day of payment and delivery of shipping information. If you need something quicker we can arrange for expedited shipping or recommend other options that might be available.
How does shipping work?
You will need to provide us with a list of all the shipping addresses. If you would like help with this we can put together a google form and send it to your participants on your behalf.
The flat rate shown on each experience page is per kit and covers standard ground shipping within the continental US. It is an estimate, and we confirm the final figure before invoicing. Alaska, Hawaii, and expedited delivery carry additional per-kit charges, listed under Shipping Details on each experience page.
Where can you ship your virtual experiences to?
We can ship and/or make arrangements for participants in the US, Canada, Europe, and other global regions. Let us know where you your participants are and we can help with some solutions.
Can you accommodate dietary restrictions and non-drinkers?
Yes! We have a variety of Mocktail and food kits that we can ship out. We can also curate custom packages to accommodate participants with special requests.
What platform do you use to host your virtual tastings?
We use Zoom for all our tastings. If you are at an organization that prefers a different platform you're more than welcome to set up a meeting link that our virtual tasting hosts can jump on.
